So Ben and I are headed off to New Mexico for a week, to hang out with the Enchanted ones (that is, to hang out with Elise). Hopefully we’ll do some hiking, some good green chili eating, and some checking-out of various Santa Fe art galleries (or really just the one in which we happen to know someone working there.) Don’t know if I’ll be posting while we’re gone, so there may be nothing new for the next week.
Woohoo for paid vacation.

Oh yeah. And two more weeks of it are coming my way once I’ve officially been working for a full year. I don’t know if I should credit the University for having good benefits or the Teamsters Union for finagling them (because all the clerical staff are Teamsters, which is somewhat amusing) but either way, being able to leave Chicago for a little bit not worrying too much about the expense is kind of a nice thing.
